Market introduction: Indonesia is located on the equator and has abundant solar energy. Out of the total potential of 3294 gigawatts, 600 megawatts of solar energy were utilized. This indicates that there is still a lot of room for further development in Indonesia in the future. The recently released "Comprehensive Investment and Policy Plan" aims to further promote energy transformation. At the same time, the Indonesian government had previously pledged to achieve net zero emissions by 2060. In the next 3 to 5 years, Indonesia will also raise approximately $20 billion through international financing mechanisms to help achieve its energy transition goals.

Solar energy is currently the main area for developing green electricity in Indonesia. The Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources plans to invest 210 billion Indonesian rupiah (approximately 2173 Indonesian rupiah) to install rooftop solar panels in 70 government departments. The Indonesian government has launched the "Solar Islands" plan, which aims to install rooftop solar panels for millions of impoverished households within 4-5 years. The government is also actively building solar power plants, floating photovoltaic power stations, etc. Relevant statistical data shows that by 2030, Indonesia's photovoltaic production capacity will increase from the current less than 1 gigawatt to 29 gigawatts.
