Exhibition Introduction:

The Thailand New Energy Exhibition is hosted by Informa, a leading trade fair and exhibition organizer in Asia. The exhibition has received support from government departments such as the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Thailand. The Chairman of the Energy Commission of Thailand leads ministers at all levels as special guests to attend the exhibition.

Thailand is a leading global producer of biofuels and the second largest economy in ASEAN, while China has been Thailand's largest trading partner for nine consecutive years. In recent years, China and Thailand have had close and extensive cooperation in areas such as economic and trade parks, new energy, rail transit, and communication. After the RCEP comes into effect, tariff reductions among member countries and the expansion of market access for products and services mean that market opportunities for businesses will further expand.

According to Ipsos report, Thailand is the second largest energy market in Southeast Asia. Photovoltaic leads the way, and the proportion of renewable energy continues to increase. By 2040, the proportion of fossil fuels in Thailand's total power generation capacity will decrease from 72% in 2015 to 32%, while the proportion of renewable energy will increase from 21% to 55%. Solar power generation technology will take a leading position in the transformation of Thailand's electricity sector with an additional capacity of 22.8GW (equivalent to 36% of Thailand's power generation capacity gap of 62.9GW). Thailand has received strong encouragement and support from the government due to its rapidly growing electricity demand and intention to break away from crude oil imports. In the future, the Ministry of Renewable Energy of Thailand will continue to introduce investments. In addition to the three-year waiting period for the epidemic, market demand has also expanded, and now is a good opportunity for companies to enter Thailand.
