The Berlin Consumer Electronics Exhibition (IFA), founded in 1924, is a grand event for global electronic consumer goods manufacturers and traders to showcase new products and engage in commercial and technological exchanges. Since the closure of the Cologne Home Appliances Exhibition in 2008, the exhibition has incorporated the concept of white goods and become the only professional exhibition in Europe where black and white goods dance together. The home appliance brand hall expanded from the initial 4 to 10 in 2014, featuring world-class home appliance brands such as Bosch, Siemens, Electrolux

Since 2015, the organizer has set up an iZone exhibition area in halls 13-15, with an exhibition area of 3600 square meters, dedicated to showcasing all of Apple's peripheral products in a special exhibition area. More than 90 manufacturers and their partners are showcasing the world's most advanced iTech products and the latest applications in the iZone exhibition area. In 2019, the booth area increased to over 160000 square meters, and nearly 2000 companies participated in the exhibition, attracting more than 240000 visitors.
